At AmSol, we are experienced purveyors of these period pieces and contemporary Egyptian art, while also offering bespoke and custom-made furniture.

How we Work

Over the years, AmSol has remained faithful to its core values, expressed simply in five words that define our products: style, authenticity, functionality, unique, and durability.

The Founders

AmSol is the brainchild of interior designers, Nevine Soliman and Amr Sherif. Their job is their passion, as they like to say. In order to exercise this passion, AmSol focuses their energy on their clients and what they want to achieve within their space. Soliman left a long business career working for top corporations in the US and Egypt, to pursue her “true calling.” She studied at the New York Institute of Art & Design and promptly returned to Egypt to pursue her interests in design, styling, and decor full time. With a degree in Interior Design from the Academy of Arts, Sherif was also fascinated by the world of interiors, and in the time since, he continues to explore multiple aspects of the design world from art direction to photography. After working together on some small design projects, the duo realized they had a “unique design intuition”, and formed the AmSol company in 2016. In the subsequent years, AmSol has continued to expand, not only offering a showroom space, but also a seasonal furniture and art event, known as Home Deco. To help them bring these activations to life, AmSol works with various collaborators and leaders within the interior industry, in addition to building a passionate, resourceful team including their graphic designer, and jack of all trades, Sameh elAshri.
